Launch Ceremony of DSM Measures at Tata Power-DDL
On February 13, 2024, Tata Power-Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) marked a significant milestone with the successful launch of the "Discount-based Energy Efficient Products Scheme" under the umbrella of the "Urja Arpan" campaign. This initiative stands as a pivotal component of GreenTree Global's crucial project ‘Capacity Building of DISCOMs’ program under the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power, aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of DISCOMs and reducing peak energy demand through implementation of Demand Side Management (DSM) measures.
The event attracted more than 100 participants, including officials from Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), Vendors, and Demand Response (DR) clients. Key dignitaries of the event were Mr. Syed Hasan Imam, Head of Growth - EaaS Marketing & Implementation and DSM Cell, Tata Power-DDL, Ms. Kiran Gupta, Chief - Customer Experience, Commercial & Govt. Affairs, Tata Power-DDL, Ms. Dipanwita Ray, Head of Department - Customer Experience, Customer Services, VAS & EaaS, Tata Power-DDL Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Project Director, GreenTree Global, Mr. Ritwik Ray Chaudhuri from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, and Mr. Rajeev Kharyal, Head - Key Customers & New Business Services, Tata Power-DDL. The initiative offered a wide range of energy-efficient products (EEPs) to meet consumers' demands, such as BLDC fans, 5-star rated induction fans, water heaters, LED bulbs, and tube lights. These products, sourced from reputable Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) such as Voltas Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., Surya Roshni Limited, and Halonix Technologies Private Ltd., provide consumers with a tangible opportunity to choose eco-friendly solutions for their homes and businesses.
